Brand of Dusk: The Echoes of Vaelor is my debut novel.People often ask where I get the inspiration for a dark, rainy city like Ravenholt.Honestly, it’s mostly just where I live. I am based in Scotland, where the damp and the grey tend to settle right into your bones. That heavy atmosphere is the exact foundation I used to build the streets of my world.Beyond the Scottish weather, my daily life is a constant juggling act. I share my home with my husband, two teenage sons, one dog, and three cats. On top of wrangling that small zoo, I run a personalised products business as well as my own holiday cottage next door. As you can imagine, there is rarely a quiet moment!Writing is my escape from the chaos. It is where I take all that daily energy and pour it into something gritty, magical, and entirely my own.Because life is so hectic, having you read my work truly means the world to me.
